Help Support Julie Q and Family

Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, our dear Julie Query has been moving through her journey with cancer now for nearly 3 years. She has an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer, goblet cell adenoid carcinoma of the appendix, first diagnosed as Stage IV in 2020. Julie has attacked this terrible disease with courage and has undergone chemotherapy, surgical treatments, experimental therapies, and many other non-traditional approaches, but the disease continues to progress through her body…

Many of these alternative treatments and therapies have been extraordinarily expensive and are not covered by insurance. Julie and her husband Marc Pechaitis have a seven-year-old daughter, Ruby, who is also experiencing tremendous hardship during these past months. Marc and Julie have connected with a play therapist to help Ruby get additional support. Julie is currently under hospice care at home surrounded by family. During this difficult time, it would be so helpful to eliminate any financial concerns from their minds and allow them to focus on each other.

I’m reaching out to the community on behalf of Julie and Marc in hopes that we can help them shoulder the burden of these mounting costs. Julie has maintained an incredibly positive attitude and has been an absolute warrior and a true inspiration.
