Julie Roth's recovery after a stroke

Dear Family and Friends of Julie Roth,

On Wednesday, October 25th, the sweet, kind Julie Roth, suffered a massive stroke. Since then, she has survived multiple surgeries (including a thrombectomy, a craniectomy and a stomach peg) and faces at least three more major surgeries in the coming weeks or months.

It has been an overwhelming and terrifying time for Julie and her devoted kids, Mandy and Phillip, as they try to navigate a devastating new reality. They are worried but determined to fight alongside Julie and support her in every way they can.

Mandy and Phillip have been so thankful for the outpouring of love, and concern that they have received for their Mom, and are comforted to see how many have been touched by Julie's kindness, generosity and selfless willingness to always help those in need. Mandy and Phillip are sincerely gratified to know that so many people are cheering for Julie's full recovery.

Unfortunately, Julie now faces a long and heavy course of rehabilitation. Mandy has made the difficult choice to step away from her salon so she can devote her time and energy to ensuring Julie receives the best possible care, just as Julie would undoubtedly do if the tables were turned. Although the combined reality of medical costs and lost income make for a daunting financial future, Mandy and Phillip remain hopeful and determined to do everything possible to ensure Julie can once again share her beautiful spirit and energy with those who love her. However, this is uncharted territory and day by day, they are all navigating the situation as best they can.

When tragedies occur, it is often difficult to know what to do. Since Julie's stroke, many people have shared suggestions to help Mandy and Phillip ensure Julie has the best hope of recovery.
