Julie's Ovarian Cancer Battle
Donation protected
My mother is a beautiful person inside and out. She does everything for everyone without a care in the world, and puts herself last. For the past 8 years she has been an independent woman, taking care of my younger brother who cannot work due to autism and a learning disbility after her divorce. She has since come to working 4 jobs a day. She runs an after school program with kids grades K-6. Years ago she beat ovarian cancer, and within the past 2 years unknowingly, it came back. Due to the divorce she lost insurance, and has been denied Medicaid and Obamacare, as well as financial assistance from the hospital. She barely has enough to pay rent and get groceries. Because of that, she has come to major debt just to survive. The last three months she has had a tumor growing inside her. She had surgery Friday and found out the basketball sized tumor was cancerous, and she just missed death. She will be off of work for 6 weeks for recovery, and then will need another 6 weeks of chemo, and most likely be unable to work.
As of 11/18, she has found out there was a seperate tumor growing on her appendix, and cervical cancer was found as well. She would have been dead in a month had she not gotten into the doctor's. She is now looking to visit two more oncologist appointments as well as a radiologist to see what steps will need to be taken. She is a very lucky woman with angels on her shoulders!
12/15- Julie will need to undergo 6 weeks of chemo to make sure all cancer was removed and there is nothing lingering.
We are looking to your thoughtfulness to help pay off some of her medical bills that continue to grow so we can get her back on her feet in order to survive easier and save money for basic costs. Thank you for your consideration and God Bless.
