Julies (Jujubees) Fight against Cancer

Family and Friends,

Nick and Josh are here to give you an update and again ask for some assistance.

Most of you know our mom, Julie or Jujubee; she is an inspiration and friend to all.

About 10 months ago, she was complaining of severe back pain and being tired all the time in a way that she had never experienced before. She then found a lump in her breast that raised considerable concern for all of us. Not having insurance, we went through the process of gaining state help for that and got her to see an oncologist at UCI. Our nightmares became a reality extremely quickly when we heard and read the reports saying positive for Cancer. We have a full diagnosis and it is stage 4 and has moved from the breast into the bones. Throughout the past few months, we have gone to chemo every Thursday religiously and we have seen improvement, but we are in for a much longer fight. Including quite a few more rounds of chemotherapy, double mastectomy, reconstructive surgery, and eventually radiation therapy. And that is with all hopes and no complications. With all of this being said you can imagine she has been sick and extremely exhausted. Working has been really hard for her to do. State disability is in the works and slow, as well as social security.

It has put her into a very hard financial status not being able to work and not having any source of income while waiting on social security and disability we are asking for any help you can assist with, to cover things like rent, insurance, cell phone, gas, food, medications, and items to help with recovery in the upcoming fight.

Julie has never been one to ask anyone for help or assistance. At this time, we have nowhere else to turn except to our family and friends. If you have anything you can spare, we would much appreciate all the help. if nothing else please share this post and send prayers and hope our way.
