Julieta Maria Miller Calderon Surviving Cancer

My name is Mary Peterson and I am a Sigma Lambda Gamma sorority sister of Julieta. Julieta was an original founder of the organization at the University of Iowa in 1990. Thus I have known her and her family for a long time.

She was diagnosed with Pnacreta cancer on September 18, 2021. She had surgery in October to remove part of her pancreas. It has now spread to her liver. Julieta is a fighter, especially with the support of her husband Rudy (Sigma Lambda Beta Alpha Chapter) and her children.

No doubt, this has caused significant emotional stress on everyone involved. Let alone the fiscal stress of hospital bills.

I encourage all to donate but especially the sisters of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. and the brothers of Sigma Lambda Beta Internaltional Fraternity Inc.
