Julie Winkel --- Maplewood
Donation protected
Julie Winkel's farm, Maplewood, is under water again after devastating floods in January. More than 100 acres of her 165-acre property is completely flooded. The roads in and out of her place in Reno, Nevada, have been destroyed, and she's not received insurance coverage for the major repairs needed.
With more than 80 horses on her property, she's having difficulty acquiring the needed hay, grain, shavings, food supplies, etc., to run her operation, teach lessons and train her horses.
She really needs the horse community to help her any way possible. Pride wouldn't let her accept major help during the last flood, but this time she's just worn out! Let's help Julie get back on her feet and assist her any way possible in repairing the infrastrucure so she can save her business.
