Julio Antonio Mendizabal Gidi

Hi, my name is Kami Alvarez, and I am Julio Mendizabal's sister-in-law. I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister, Summer Mendizabal, Julio's wife, and their four children.

On the morning of October 6, 2023, while working from home, Julio tragically lost his life due to a choking incident. At the time, his two youngest children were present and, in their quick thinking, they immediately dialed 911 and sought assistance from neighbors. Our family extends our heartfelt gratitude to all those who stepped in to provide help and support during this traumatic incident.

Julio leaves behind a wife and four children, all of whom now confront daunting challenges on both the financial and emotional fronts. Julio was an exceptional provider for his family, caring for them in every possible way—emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Julio likely experienced his generous spirit and willingness to lend a hand, whether it was assisting with a move, offering a listening ear during difficult times, or preparing a delicious meal.
