Julissa’s Funeral and Burial Expenses

Julissa Puente passed away tragically in a Multi-Vehicle car crash on 9W while on her way to work.  Julissa was born and raised in Haverstraw, New York.  Her family and loved ones are devastated and completely shattered. The North Rockland Community has lost an amazing soul, bright scholar and budding entrepreneur. Julissa graduated NRHS in 2019 with Honors and was attending Dominican College with the hopes of becoming a Psychologist. She worked hard and dreamt of making a difference by empowering others through Mental Health and Wellness. Her life was tragically cut short on October 8, 2021. Julissa's car was completely destroyed in a horrific crash. She had so many hopes and aspirations. Although she was only twenty years old, Julissa touched the lives of so many with her acts of kindness and enormous heart. Julissa poured her heart and soul into everything she did. Her beautiful smile cheered up so many lives.   She loved helping others and spreading positivity. Others could always lean on her during  times of need. Today, more than ever she needs our prayers for her family, friends and loved ones.  This Go Fund was created to help her mother and  brother cover the Funeral and Burial Expenses. Erika Hoepelman Perez, the organizer of this fundraiser, is Julissa's cousin and is stepping in to support Julissa's mother, Georgia Perez. Erika will withdraw the funds to pay for the final expenses.

Julissa Puente falleció trágicamente en un accidente automovilístico de varios vehículos en 9W mientras se dirigía a su trabajo. Julissa nació y se crió en Haverstraw, Nueva York. Su familia y seres queridos están devastados y completamente destrozados. La comunidad de North Rockland ha perdido un alma asombrosa, brillante y una joven emprendedora.
