Julius' Journey
Donation protected
Just a little over a year ago, Julius was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) at only 18 months old. We lived in Evansville, IN but had to relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the initial Chemo therapy treatments. Only three weeks after being discharged from St. Vincent Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, Julius relapsed. His Leukemia had returned and now we all had to relocate once again to travel to Cincinnati. This time, on top of all the extensive Chemo therapy, he was going to have to go through a bone marrow transplant. After that procedure, Julius was put into PICU for a week and had to be put on dialysis but he made it through. He's an extremely strong little boy. Again, three weeks after being discharged from Cincinnati Children's Hospital the doctors told us the absolute worst news any parent could receive. The cancer was back and more aggressive than ever. They said there wasn't much more they could do except to keep him comfortable. Nothing could have prepared us for this. Any donations will help us by going towards all medical bills and future funeral costs. We thank everyone for supporting us. We truly appreciate it all.
