Our mission is to inform, encourage, and empower the youth to embrace not only finance and entrepreneurship, but self-discovery and perseverance in an ever changing and challenging world.
Too often children are forgotten when it comes to the rat race we call life. Their education is either fraught with unbearable pressure to perform at the highest level in an effort to get an edge on the competition, or used as a tool for optical prowess amongst institutions.
To remediate these shortcomings we have as a society, we must remember to teach young people to grasp for the tools necessary to go after what it is they want. We aim to do this by teaching students how the basics of their education is applied to everyday life, business ownership, and personal finance through real world hands-on access. As adults, we often find ourselves reteaching ourselves the things we forgot we already learned (or were supposed to learn) so many years ago in the classroom. We didn’t realize that there was a connection. We couldn’t comprehend the depth to which everything applied. Let’s not leave it all up to them to have to figure it out for themselves.
A $500 stipend for the completion of the EFEP 4 week program (4 days/week, 5 hr/day).
Transportation to and from the program site for the duration of the program. (≈$105.00)
Food Fund (≈$160.00)
Program Completion Plaque ($70)
Total per person: $835 (@4 total participants)
