Julmar "Jules" Abella

Hi, my name is Clarissa and I am fundraising for my dear friend Jules who has sadly passed away due to kidney failure.

I met Jules at work three years ago. He was the first person who talked to me, welcomed me with his warm smile and since then we have been good friends. Working with the NHS is tough but whenever Jules was on shift he would instantly brighten up the room. Jules was so friendly with all staff and patients. He had such charisma and his personality was one of a kind. Jules would always be so helpful and go above and beyond for anyone. His smile was infectious and seeing him smile would automatically make you smile too. Jules was one of the funniest people to work with and to be around in general. Jules had big dreams but certainly made sure to enjoy outside work. He really loved life.

Any help big or small would be greatly appreciated, we are asking for donations as any help to his family and friends would mean the world to them. His death was very unexpected and unfortunately, Jules left us all too soon.

He left us in the early hours of the morning of the 2nd of August 2023, surrounded by his family and long-time friends who held his hand until his very last breath. Although he was fast asleep, we are all sure he could feel the overwhelming amount of love around him and nothing made him happier than to be in the company of those he cared for the most.

His very last moment awake was spent pouting his lips asking for a kiss, so let us all please take a moment to show the ones we care for the most how much we love them and cherish them while they are still with us. That’s what matters most at the end of the day. As Jules always said, “We live to love, we love to live.”
