Juma Childrens orphanage

Greetings dear Brothers and Sisters. My name is JUMA NKUMBA, the care taker of Juma Children’s Ministries base in Uganda Kampala village Kasubi Kawaala that is dedicated to supporting  orphaned children, the needy, elderly and widows as well as those in distress. Ours is not just the responsibility to help but a lifetime calling to ensure that all human beings receive the necessary support that will enable them live fulfilling lives and also achieve their potential.

Our call is a God given vision to transform the lives of these children by giving them the necessary care, support, hope and a platform to live normal lives. We follow the God’s word about orphans were he directs us to rescue, love and care for orphans. We believe that in so doing, we are furthering the Creater’s ministry here on earth.

Our orphanage has 21 children am taking care of, and in our community there is several poor families we share with in case when God blesses us with enough.

The orphanage had a head a farmer called Mr Rogers Ssekyango but unfortunately he died may his soul rest in peace, this man raised me up together with other children but when he died others left one by one so i was the only elder left to keep running the orphanage.

Before Mr Rogers died, the orphanage had a Brother Mr John from USA who used to give a hand of support to our orphanage, monthly food, monthly orphanage rent and sponsoring some children with school supplies and fees.

But unfortunately Mr John died of cancer and everything had to turn town and Mr Rogers was left on his own to take care of the orphanage few months after Mr John’s death then Mr Rogers also died. The orphanage was left in my hand because i was the elder of all the children.

Before sister BEANIE MUSTAFA, I have been struggling hard to get what to eat at our orphanage sometimes I fail and most days we eat once in a day and i also find it hard to pay for our orphanage rent.

Been trying to fetch water for people’s animals and to work on farm so that i can get some funds to feed the children. When i fail i just cook porridge for the children so they dont spend and sleep hungry.

We believed together with your hand of help we can overcome orphanage renting, we can overcome starving in our orphanage we can buy clothes,shoes,and beds with mosquito nets and also get a water purifier for our home, since we have a poor water source.
