Jumping above and beyond for Rainbows

At some point last year I realised I was stuck in a rut. So I decided to change course a little. As all of my family and friends know I work in the NHS. I decided to widen my skills in the Children’s hospital at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.
This resulted in me working on Ward 27 Children’s Oncology and Children’s Congenital Cardiac Ward. Here I met the most bravest of families and children that have had to take a leap into the hands of strangers such as consultants, doctors, nurses and physiotherapists and not by choice.
Many of the families are supported by Rainbows, a local Leicester Charity who fill these families lives with the brightest of colours in the darkest of times. It’s true that you can always look out for rainbows!

So, I’m taking a leap out of an aeroplane to raise money for this wonderful charity to ensure they can continue to support these families who deserve the very best life can offer to children with life limiting conditions. Please, help me fill these short little lives full of rainbows, happiness, care and compassion which they so richly deserve.
