Respond 4 Rodney - Donor Fund

Respond 4 Rodney  is a group of people searching for a kidney donor for career first responder and loving husband and father Rodney Overman.

Rodney Overman is a career first responder (firefighter, paramedic and EMS leader) who enjoyed a long career with the Forsyth County EMS and the State of North Carolina. He is the loving husband of Laurie Overman and the father of two children, Becca and Lee Overman. The Overmans reside in Kernersville, North Carolina.

In 2014, Rodney learned that he needed a kidney transplant. Rodney's family and friends have organized a Facebook page to search for a matching donor and raise necessary funds to cover expenses above and beyond those related to the procedure itself (the donor's travel costs, donor's missed work, etc).

Rodney's insurance will pay the medical expenses for the donor, but Rodney is adament that the special person that steps forward to save his life should not incur other expenses associated with giving their gift of life.
