Jupiter Kitty’s Vet Bills

For those of you who don’t know Jupiter, he has been my sweet, smart (he can do many tricks including paw, sit, spin, and jump), friendly little companion for the past 8 years. He’s been very healthy since going from 18lbs when I adopted him to a solid 12. Unfortunately, in the past week he needed to be seen in the ER for breathing troubles, and we now know that he has heart failure, fluid in and around his lungs, and hyperthyroidism. You wouldn’t know it because he continues to be the sweetest little guy!

The vet bills to diagnose his illness, surgeries to make him more comfortable, and medications for his heart and lungs have been about $5,000 so far and the estimate for his upcoming treatment is thousands more. I’m at the bottom of my savings, but this little guy continues to have a zest for life and I want to help him stay in this world as long as he would like to.
