Just Footprints Foundation - Family Weekend

Hi, this is Levi Rhoades and Will Battle-McDonald. This October, we will be traveling to South Africa to volunteer as camp counselors with the Just Footprints Foundation (JFF), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in South Africa. 100% of the money raised here will go to JFF, and we would like to thank Ed Dean and the Climb for a Child Foundation for accepting donations on behalf of JFF.

Just Footprints Foundation offers free camp and recreational experiences to children with serious illnesses, life challenges, and disabilities. Their mission is to empower these children to reach beyond the limitations of their circumstances by providing them with fun, purposeful, and transformative experiences.

This fundraiser will go towards JFF's Family Weekend Program, which enables the parents and siblings of the campers to join them at camp. These weekends are an opportunity for the children and their families to participate in camp activities together, offering a unique and special way for them to bond, grow, and play.

Every donation will help JFF continue to make these experiences possible, and we are deeply thankful to everyone who helps us support this incredible cause!

The Just Footprints Foundation (JFF) is a registered Non-Profit Organization, a Public Benefit Organization with Section 18A status and a Level 1 BEE Contributor.

The Just Footprints Foundation was founded in 2008 by Leone Jooste to meet the needs of children with serious life challenges such as childhood cancer, and HIV. Just Footprints provides a week-long camping experience with both recreational and educational experiences uniquely catered to the needs of children with disabilities.

To date, Just Footprints has served over 4,400 campers, and established camps in 6 different regions of South Africa.

Just Footprints also follows children beyond camp and through their educational careers and provides support in the form of school supplies, counseling, and events such as the one you will be funding, parents weekend.

In 2017, Levi raised a grant through the Duke Engage and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to visit Camp Footprints, and assist with their inclusion into the Serious Fun Network. Levi has since stayed involved with Just Footprints and has previously raised funding for their 2021 Back 2 School initiative.
