Are you aware that there is an UNDETERMINED and QUESTIONABLE death that occurred in the heartbeat of Downtown SLO, on a busy Saturday night during WOW Weekend for California Polytechnic State University?
Thomas "Tommy" Jodry, 21, of Atascadero fell to his death from the Marsh Street parking structure across from Eureka Burger SLO on the evening of September 14, 2019.
We need the help of this community to raise funds in order for the Jodry Family to offer a reward for information leading up to his mysterious death. As you can imagine, funeral fees, newspaper ads and other means to spread the word about Tommy's mysterious death, can add up to thousands of dollars. This family has humbly accepted our help us raise these funds. Please know, there is no amount too small. ANYTHING will help. We must help this family get the justice they deserve, that Thomas deserves.
The San Luis Obispo Police Department initially called Tommy's death a suicide. However, after a mountain of evidence clearly contradicted that, the SLO Sheriff/Coroner's office changed the cause of Tommy's death to "Undetermined."
As a community, can we really be okay with someone dying in arguably one of the busiest spots in SLO and we do nothing about it?
Did you know there is an EASY way for you to help us piece together what happened?
Can you pull out your phone and check where you were on the evening of September 14?
Maybe you checked in somewhere, or snapped a photo?
Do you see Tommy in the background of any of your photos?
Do you remember seeing him anywhere downtown?
Were you in the vicinity of Frog and Peach Pub, Kreuzberg California, The Movie Experience at Downtown Centre, and Eureka?
Tommy (pictured) was wearing a hat, t-shirt and shorts. His elbow was broken, and had his arm in a brace.
The Jodry Family needs your help piecing together the events leading up to the death of their son Thomas Jodry and hopefully find peace, answers, and justice for what happened.
