Justice & Homecoming for my beloved Father Henry!

My father passed away at 9am on May 16, 2020. The FL DOC has given me no information on what happened or what was done to try to save his life. The past month has been an emotional roller-coaster and nothing but a fight to find out any information about him. I finally was able to communicate with him Friday night 5/15/20 for the first time since they took him into "Quarantine" (almost 1 month ago), his email was brief and said he has lost a lot of weight, was down to 205 lbs but still fighting! I had all the hope in the world he was going to make it. I thought the worst was over. I can't even process that this is all real! He was my Dad, not just a DC# not just some inmate serving a life sentence. He was not perfect by any means but I believe in my heart he had remorse, he changed and learned from his mistakes. He became my best friend, we would talk every day and he had a way of knowing when I needed him the most. The actions the FL DOC took and the lack of care provided will not go unjustified. My father should have never been removed from the hospital and surely not brought back to a camp that was nothing but a petri dish of Covid. This Go Fund me Account is help raise money to bring him home and honor him as our beloved one. In addition it is to help raise money to obtain an attorney so we can fight for justice and bring change so no other family has to experience this nightmare.
