Justice & Farewell for Jose Ortiz

On the night of March 28, 2025, our beloved Jose Ortiz and his wife were driving home from a church event when their lives were tragically altered. At the intersection of 94th Avenue South and South 240th Street in Kent, WA, they were struck by a driver who was later arrested for DUI and Vehicular Homicide.

Jose, a devoted man of God and cherished member of the Holy Spirit Church in Kent, did not survive the crash. His wife suffered serious injuries and is currently fighting to recover at Harborview Medical Center.

Our family is devastated by this unexpected loss. Jose was a loving husband, a caring friend, and a pillar of faith in our community. His kindness and unwavering faith touched many lives, and we are struggling to comprehend a world without him.

As we navigate this unimaginable grief, we are also facing significant financial burdens—funeral expenses, medical costs, and legal fees to ensure justice is served.

We humbly ask for your support in honoring Jose’s life and helping our family through this difficult time. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go toward:

• Funeral & memorial expenses to give Jose the farewell he deserves.
