Awareness for Avery and Amber Hearn

Hello, my name is Kimberly Cummings (Avery’s Grandma) and I’m asking for help from the community for my daughter Amberly and my grandson Avery. Shes fighting a long and lengthy court battle with her ex-husband. They have been separated since 2019 and divorced since 2020. It is very important we get a attorney who is going to fight for Avery, and not back down. Money should never be worth more than a child’s safety.

His father refuses to co-parent and continues to try and alienate her. I pray to God justice will be served, and that I can actually close my eyes at night, knowing my grandson will be safe. Even though the divorce is over, and Amber has 50/50 custody, new information has been brought to light that has really made us all see how much potential danger Avery is in. He has a voice yet he feels like he isn’t heard. Avery is showing lots of signs of anxiety, fear, anger and frustration due to all of this. We have doctors recommendations from the time he was a little boy to prove things have been going on for many, many years before the separation even started. My daughter has spent over 30k on attorneys but it is pertinent we find one who puts her heart into her job and who doesn’t give up fighting for what’s right.

My daughter is currently facing extremely false defamatory, due to her recently finding out about new information pertaining to people around Avery. She has been retaliated against again, as she has been for 3 years. Her ex husband has treated her like she’s less than for a long time, and has tried to take away the one thing she cares for most in this world, even at his own expense, Avery. It’s gotten very expensive trying to prove who she really is to the people who’s opinions matter in this case, and with no child support and providing all of Avery’s day to day items for two homes. Our family is trying to pull together every dime we can, but we are in a tight spot as the clock is ticking and every second counts. His safety is our number one priority and we know he’s in a dangerous situation, and that not everyone does what’s in Avery’s best interest. It's been very stressful and emotionally draining on the whole family to see her character being tarnished and to see her be painted in such an misleading way. This whole situation has been a painful betrayal to us, and shown us that the justice system fails, time and time again. Miscommunications and misunderstandings resulted in bias and unjust court hearings. We really need an experienced and reputable lawyer because this is my Grandson we are fighting for, and you only get one childhood. He's very close with his mom and he deserves to spend time in a household where he's comfortable and supported. Where he feels free, and safe, and can be himself, and just be a kid.

Amber would go to the end of the earth for Avery. She tries to teach him to be brave, and fight for what he believes in. So we have to lead by example. He needs to know that he can be heard. Finally. No more feeling alone and isolated without his Mom.

Abuse doesn’t have to be physical to be happening, emotional trauma is just as damaging. We cannot take Avery’s emotional and medical needs being ignored any longer (she does not have the final say on these things) and he has full coverage insurance so why would his medical needs ever be ignored? He is a beautiful, amazing 8 year old boy. He is incredibly smart, he just doesn’t see how talented and brilliant he really is. Testing at a 3rd grade level in 1st grade. And that’s what’s so heartbreaking. He has learned to just coward down and blend in. We do not want Avery to have to get hurt worse before someone listens. At this point, his anxiety is taking over his everyday life, that should be fun and easy. Being a kid isn’t supposed to be so stressful and hard. Please help bring Avery home and make his life complete again.
