Hello, this is Diane Thomas, Andrew's mother. Andrew, 33, was so many things to so many people - a loving son, a fun brother, a wonderful partner, a loyal friend, an artist, a communicator, and a gentle, thoughtful, creative soul whose life was tragically taken from all of us on June 1, 2022 at the hands of a drug-impaired driver in Brooklyn, NY.
So many wonderful people have reached out to us to learn how they can help the family in this difficult time. We created this fundraiser for two reasons:
- to defray the costs of Andrew's funeral
- to raise funds in relation to the impending vehicular manslaughter court case and other legal fees we will incur in seeking justice for Andrew
