Justice for Antoine Westbrook Cold Case Fund

From Antoine's family...
It’s with a heavy heart that our family makes this plea for help in finding answers in the death of a beloved brother and son, Antoine Westbrook. On August 1, 2021, Antoine stopped answering or returning phone calls, even from his mother or sister, leaving our family to fear the worst for his safety. He was just 21 years old at the time of his disappearance, already planning the next phase of his life as he worked diligently at a pill-packaging factory. However, by August 5, 2021, our family received devastating confirmation that Antoine had been found deceased. Police located his body underneath an overpass near Bellefontaine Road in St. Louis, Missouri. While his death was ruled suspicious upon autopsy, police now consider his case to be cold.
Antoine’s death has left a gaping hole in our family. He was always very optimistic, and a good head on his shoulders. He was always one call away, and his soul shined so brightly in the darkest times. He was the last person we ever suspected would have something so horrific happen to him. From his hilarious antics to the way he treated his loved ones, his pure heart was a gift to all who knew him. He was very versatile and could find joy in doing anything. Antoine was the type of person who sits with the lonely kid at the lunch table, makes you laugh when you're livid, makes you smile when you cry, and always reminds people, without saying a word, that life is precious. We will never get over the fact that he will never realize his plan to open his own driving school or have the large family he dreamed of. We will never get to see him grow into the brilliant young man we always knew he would be.
As we continue to mourn the loss of our beloved Antoine, we are determined to uncover the truth surrounding his death. The past two years have been filled with anguish, unanswered questions, and a sense of helplessness. Despite the efforts of law enforcement, the investigation into Antoine's death has stalled, leaving us in desperate need of a fresh perspective. We firmly believe that hiring an independent private investigator is our best chance at shedding new light on the case.
Your generous donations will enable us to engage an independent private investigator, who will delve deep into the case, re-examine evidence, and pursue leads that may have been overlooked. The fresh perspective and unwavering dedication of an experienced investigator will provide a glimmer of hope, not only for our family but for all those who seek justice for the victims of unsolved cases.
We understand that not everyone may be in a position to donate, and we completely respect that. We kindly request your help in spreading the word about our cause. By sharing our plea with your friends, family, and social networks, you can amplify our reach and increase the likelihood of someone coming forward with crucial information.
On behalf of our grieving family, we extend our deepest gratitude for your time, consideration, and potential contribution. Your empathy and kindness give us hope in our darkest moments, and with your support, we believe that justice for Antoine is still within our grasp.
