Azuma had made the courageous move from Sydney to LA to make a new life for himself in the country his (late) father Randy Bennett grew up in. Azuma made the move to make an international name for himself and began to make his mark in LA as an inspiring boxer, martial artist and personal trainer. Despite long COVID lockdowns just a few months after his arrival in LA, Azuma held on through adversity and did make his mark - gaining the friendship, respect and admiration of many.

I am now doing what I can to raise funds to help me meet the many costs required for me to ensure Justice is done for my son. I have been selling precious jewellery, some of you will have been to my preloved branded fashion sale but some people have asked for a way to simply donate funds to help me - hence this campaign.

I must travel back and forth from Australia to LA to ensure that Azuma's killer pays for his disregard for Azuma's life. As shattering and difficult as it is to face I must represent my son at preliminary hearings and the murder trial. The judge must see family and know that Azuma was a son, a grandson, and a friend to many - he was a human who was and is still loved. I need both emotional and financial support to do it.
