Justice for Bobbie Lou and a future for her kids

On July 26, 2022, my sister, Bobbie Lou Schoeffling was murdered by her ex-boyfriend after making multiple attempts to report domestic violence to the Milwaukee Police.

Her story is tragic because her death was totally preventable. The Milwaukee Police failed my sister. They ignored her. They ridiculed her. They dismissed her. They laughed in her face while calling her vulgar names.

If it wasn't for Ashley Luthern, a reporter at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel who investigated the story about my sister's death, the world may have quickly forgotten my sister. She deserves to be seen. And her story deserves to be known.

Bobbie Lou loved her sons more than life itself. Carson and Xxavier lost their mother when they were just 10 and 8 years old. They miss her every day. No kid should grow up without their mother. This Go-Fund-Me is a way for us to keep her memory alive.

Here are a few ways that we’re planning to use the funds:

We are pursuing legal representation in this case as there was clearly egregious mishandling by the Milwaukee Police Department and other sources such as DOC

Education and funds for the boys so they get opportunities for financial stability

Birthday cakes and presents when the boys are missing their mom who can’t be there to celebrate with them, as well as medical expenses, and future college expenses.

I couldn't save my sister, Bobbie Lou. But I can give her sons what they need to be successful and happy in their lives as they grow to be young men without their mother.
