Justice for Carlie Rose: Support Her Family

My daughter Carlie Rose was full of love and light. If you ever had the chance to meet her you never forgot her. She could light up the room with her smile.
When she laughed it was always contagious. At 23 years old she still had the belly laugh she had as a baby. Her humor incomparable and was always a true testament to who she was. When you would look into her most beautiful blue eyes you could always she her kindness, love and the most beautiful soul.
She loved humans and animals with every part of her.
Carlie’s loss is felt by so many as her momma ( that’s what she called me) it feels like my heart and soul has been ripped from body. To never hear her laughter, look into her eyes, hear her voice, hold her or hug her again is an unbearable pain that no mother should have to endure.
Her older sisters, Caitlin and Chloe also feel this unbearable pain as she was the youngest sibling. In their hearts she was their baby too!
Carlie left behind her high school sweetheart and Husband of JUST 13 days, Adam. She was elated to start the next chapter in her life with him and to start their family. She wanted a house full of children. Adam and Carlie shared a love that so few of us ever get to experience in our lifetime. A husband should not have to use his wedding money to bury his wife!
She was looking forward to graduating from Milan Institute, as a nail tech on the 25th of October. She had so much talent. She wanted to be the Auntie who stole her nephew Jameson from school to take him to lunch and a movie. She couldn’t wait to take him to his first concert. Music was also a huge part of her life. She played flute from 3rd grade through high school. There was nothing Carlie couldn’t do once she set her mind to it!
The selfish and senseless act of one person stole her from us. The drunk driver Stole her dreams and future. He took a wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, auntie, niece, and friend and fur mom.
I don’t know how to go on from here. What I do know is Carlie lived so unapologetically and she would feel guilty and be very sad to be the cause of our sorrow and pain.
To honor her and her memory I must live my life the way she lived hers, full of love, laughter, kindness, caring, selflessness and unapologetically!
Carlie would want justice served. Her wish would be Imprisonment and not death. She would never want another life for a life. That is a true testament of who she is! Carlie was angel on earth and she know is one in heaven!
I will not rest until justice is served for my most precious baby girl. God has a plan and we will see each other again. I love you sweetheart, love always, your momma ❤️
