Justice For Daimeon!

On Saturday, December 3, 2022, a 14 year old Lindenwold, NJ boy was fatally shot after attending a birthday party.

This is the headline that will haunt our family forever! That 14 year old boy wasn’t just any 14 year old, he was ours! Our beloved Daimeon Shamere Allen!

He was the youngest of 5 to our sister Shamane Allen and the protector and leader to the cousins right under him. We can’t understand this nor can we process it. This lost, so great, has instantly taken away our childrens’ innocence and optimism of the world ahead of them. And has left a jagged scar deep in the hearts of his sisters, brothers and mother! Why him? How is this fair? Why are we mourning him so early in life!

We speak of gun violence in a desensitized way because it never really hits until… it does!

We are in a world where your child can’t attend a birthday party because of fears he/she will not make it home! We are living it in real time! What is life for all kids? Are they supposed to be at home smothered under the protection of family forever? Should celebrations remain Covid-style, ONLINE ONLY?

There are so many questions to which we know we may never get the answers to, but the major question we have is WHO! Who boldly and audaciously took the life of Daimeon? Who stopped the birthday celebrations, the family gatherings, the jokes, the pranks, the protection, the bickering, the vacations, the dancing, the hugs, the laughter, the smile, the potential, the love, HIS LIFE!

We ask you to please help us get Justice for Daimeon! Our 14-year old who could very well be your own! Giving whatever your heart sees fit will help us get individuals to come forward with information and help with necessary support for the fight we have ahead of us! If you knew him, loved him , laughed with him, and even if you didn’t but can relate on any level, we hope you will help us!
