Justice for Daniel Knight

Daniel Knight was a great father and loving fiance, an honorable son, a loyal brother, a respectable uncle, and a true friend. He was known to all as kind, loving, compassionate, and trustworthy.

 

On the night of February 19th, 2022, his family's lives were turned upside down when Daniel was fatally shot by law enforcement officers in Winter Park, FL while attending his niece's wedding.

Daniel was the father of four and the sole provider for his three young children and fiance, Mellisa Cruz.

I set up this fundraiser to assist Mellisa with the financial burden that is on her now. I ask that you help this family lift some of this burden with donations, prayers, or just simple words of encouragement and kindness. The funds received will help his fiance and family with the financial responsibility of caring for Daniel's young daughters and home expenses in the wake of this tragedy.

 

These donations will also assist the family with the fight for justice for Danny and the push for future changes to policies and procedures.
