Justice for Daniel: Please Help Support His Family

My cousin, Daniel Alejandro Arango Muñoz, was murdered on August 17, 2024. Today on 9/8/2024 he would’ve turned 34 years old. We are raising money for his mother, sister, daughter, and the legal fees to ensure we get justice.

What started off as a beautiful early birthday celebration by our family ended in tragedy when our front door neighbor stabbed Daniel and senselessly took his life right outside of our families home. Daniel died in my father Edwin’s arms, in front of his little sister Manuela.

My big cousin’s murder has left our family traumatized, heartbroken and shattered. After Daniel’s father’s passing 8 years ago, he became his mother, sister, and daughter’s only provider. I am raising this money to make sure his mom, sister, and daughter can have some financial stability, a roof over their heads, food on their table, a safe home, and education.

Daniel left behind a beautiful 9 year old daughter, his loving mother and little sister, a family that loves him endlessly, and a community that will miss him forever. Daniel always took time to make everyone feel loved, cared for, and happy. He was known for helping those in his community without ever looking for recognition, and today I ask that we can do the same for his family.

There is nothing we can do to heal the pain and bring my cousin back, but these funds will change their lives forever. Everything and anything counts. My family and I thank you all so much for the support and generosity from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Mi primo, Daniel Alejandro Arango Muñoz, fue asesinado el 17 de Agosto de 2024. Hoy 8 de Septiembre habría cumplido 34 años. Estamos recaudando dinero para su madre, hermana, hija y los honorarios legales para garantizar que obtengamos justicia.

Lo que comenzó como una hermosa celebración anticipada del cumpleaños de Danny terminó en tragedia cuando nuestro vecino apuñaló a Daniel y le quitó la vida sin sentido, justo afuera de la casa de nuestra familia. Daniel murió en los brazos de mi padre Edwin, de frente de su hermanita Manuela.

El asesinato de mi primo mayor ha dejado a nuestra familia traumatizada, desconsolada y destrozada. Después del fallecimiento del padre de Daniel hace 8 años, él se convirtió en el único sustento económico de su madre, hermana e hija. Estoy recaudando este dinero para asegurarme de que su madre, su hermana y su hija puedan tener estabilidad financiera, un techo sobre sus cabezas, comida en la mesa, un hogar seguro, y que la niña pueda obtener una buena educación.

Daniel dejó atrás a una hermosa hija de 9 años, su amorosa madre y su hermanita menor, una familia que lo ama infinitamente y una comunidad que lo extrañará para siempre. Daniel siempre se tomó el tiempo para hacer que todos se sintieran amados, cuidados y felices. Él era muy reconocido por ayudar a los de su comunidad sin buscar nunca reconocimiento, y hoy pido que podamos hacer lo mismo por su familia.

No hay nada que podamos hacer para curar el dolor y traer de vuelta a mi primo, pero estos fondos cambiarán sus vidas para siempre. Mi familia y yo les agradecemos mucho a todos por el apoyo y la generosidad desde el fondo de nuestros corazónes, gracias.
