Justice for Danny Violette Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Danielle Allen and I've started this fundraiser in hopes that justice can finally be obtained for Danny Violette and answers can be provided to his family.
17-year-old Danny Violette was last seen by his family on October 24, 1998. 11 days later, his body was found in a cornfield right outside of Willard city limits. His cause of death was asphyxiation. He had ligature marks around his neck, post mortem abrasions showing his body had been moved, and a tire track-like pattern across his shirtless chest. Contents of his wallet were found ripped up in the field.
For 25 years his family has lived not only without Danny, but without any resolution to the terrible tragedy of his death. No answers about what happened to Danny have ever been found by law enforcement. To this day, Danny's manner of death has never been determined, despite the evidence pointing towards homicide.
That brings us to today. Danny's brother Drew, who was a child at the time of his death, has taken a stand. He will no longer accept the lack of attention, answers, and progress on Danny's case. And I believe we should stand with him, for Danny.
The funds we raise here will be used to consult forensic experts about Danny's manner of death and the crime, obtain legal counsel, and obtain DNA testing or any other forensic tools that can be used to solve what, by all evidence known, points to the murder of a 17-year-old boy.
Please help us fight for Justice for Danny. Any amount would be so appreciated and will bring us a little closer to answers. Thank you.
