Justice For Dorian Hurd
Donation protected
On March 18, 2021, our beloved friend, son, brother, and nephew Dorian Hurd was a victim to a random, senseless act of gun violence. Dorian was a stellar kid; very respectful mannerisms and he has made a huge impact on the lives of everyone he came in contact with. His smile was enough to light up a room and would make everything ok. Dorian graduated from James Hubert Blake High School in 2019. Dorian was a second-year student at the University of the District of Columbia, majoring in digital media.
In his short years, he accomplished so much within his community. Dorian served as a mentor to younger athletes coming through the Laurel Stallions Youth Sports Organization Program. This organization meant so much to him as he had played many years with the youth organization and it has also become a part of his family’s legacy. As a high school athlete, Dorian led the Blake Bengals Basketball Team to many victories and championships.
But most importantly, above all else he was a loving son to Joe and Tara Faunteroy and Dorian Hurd Sr., and brother to his twin sister Camryn, and other siblings Sierra, Joey, Jalen, London, and Brandon.
The contributions collected here will be used to pay for memorial efforts and funeral costs for Dorian Hurd.
