Justice for Eddie Giron, Peace for his family!

Donation protected
For those of us that knew and loved Eddie, we remember him as a generous person with a loving and friendly heart.  Eddie was a  longtime employee  of Costco and the SLO op climbing gym. Sadly when the Covid19 lockdown began and Eddie was let go of his job at ThePad rock climbing gym (previously known as SLO op). Things started to fall apart for Eddie. He found the community, support and acceptance that helped his stability gone when he was asked not to return to the gym. That is when things began to spiral downward. Just about a year ago, Eddie developed deep depression and anxiety which caused him an imbalance to his personality. Most of Eddie's family live up North and tried to reach out from a distance, but COVID19 made it difficult.

Our family is devastated by the results that have affected our family member and the portrayal of his character made by the SLO PD and media. We want everyone to know that coming from a family of WWII veterans and a history of his Great-Grandfathers being in Chief Law enforcement and Grand Masonic Lodge, that Eddie was raised with a deep respect for all authority. He was embraced by his community as a caring person and a nurturing Big brother with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of SLO county. What is being reported in the media is only part of the truth, and his family wants the entire truth to be told. We need the authorities to be accountable for not helping his family when they reached out over the past year and retract the report that they had no knowledge of any Mental Health Issues.  We need to know why the facts just don't add up.

We humbly ask for support to help us find the truth, and make sure there is justice for Eddie and peace for his family. Your generous donation will help Eddie's family seek justice for this unfortunate and unnecessary tragedy. Our hope is also to bring a much needed awareness of the mental health issues in our communities.

All donations will be used for funeral expenses, independent  investigation, lawyer fees and mental health awareness.
