Justice for Elijah Emmanuel McDonald

Hi, My name is Ann Walker. On behalf of my daughter, Ashleigh McDonald, my family and I are fundraising to obtain reward money for information that leads to the arrest of the person (or persons) who murdered my beautiful grandson, Elijah Emmauael McDonald, on 9/27/22 in Jacksonville, FL, at the age of 17 years old. In broad daylight, my grandson was murdered by a ruthless individual who shot him off his bike and then stood over him to unload their gun into his body. Anyone evil enough to do this to a child in the middle of the day has no respect for human life and must be removed from the streets! Today it's my grandson; tomorrow, it may be your child. My heart is torn, and my family is fractured. I genuinely believe this individual will kill again. I wish no other family feels this pain, so please join me in my fight to get this animal off the streets!

Elijah was just a kid trying to find his place in this world. He is the firstborn of four children; his mother raised him, Ashleigh McDonald, a Florida A&M University Graduate, a loving and hardworking mother who strived for greatness in her children. My grandson was a headstrong, sarcastic and intelligent young man. He was very respectful, loyal and overall a good person. He was my ray of sunshine, and the way he would smile at you brought joy and would move you to smile. Like other teenagers, he loved annoying his siblings, slap boxing, pranking, and playing basketball. His favorite basketball player was Jayson Tatum number 0 of the Boston Celtics. He loved playing with his PlayStation, hanging with his friends/cousins, and riding his bicycle everywhere.

My grandson held a special place in the hearts of many people, and he deserves justice. His middle name, Emmanuel, means God with us, so I'm faithful we will find justice because his name tells me the lord will not forsake him.
