Justice for Ian Gladwell: Funeral Support

There truly are no words that could describe the amount of pain my family is enduring at this time with the unexpected loss of my brother, Ian Gladwell.

Anyone who ever knew or met Ian knew the kind of person he was. The first person to light up any room he entered, always making people laugh, and would be the very first person to give you the shirt off his back.

Ian has always had a rough life and has been through things no one should ever have to go through. He was one of the best men I will ever know, and it was and will always be a true honor to have gotten to spend my entire life knowing and loving him.

On Sunday, September 15th at 2:57 pm, my brother was brutally murdered in broad daylight. He remained an “unidentified white male” for hours until we were able to confirm that it was him. Yesterday, September 15th, we all lived our lives, and for us, it was just another day. It wasn’t until later yesterday evening that our entire world was flipped upside down when detectives came to my parents' house to have my mom identify the body of her firstborn son. My entire family is completely gutted and devastated by this unexpected loss. It has torn our lives apart in every aspect.

At this time, we ask for prayers and well wishes as we attempt to navigate through this tragedy. We are seeking justice for Ian and will not rest, we will not stop, and we will never give up until the person/persons who are responsible for taking his life is found.

In my attempt to be a backbone to my family at this time, I am asking for anyone who is able to donate to help with funeral costs, as there was no way we could’ve been prepared for this, to donate if you’re able to and please share. My family is extremely hurt and in so much shock the very last thing I want is for them to worry and wonder how they’re going to bury their son. We have not only been overwhelmed with the shock and pain of the tragic, malice way our brother was taken from us, but now by funeral expenses. Even if it’s just $1, it will be greatly appreciated.
