On Monday, July 26, my son Jake Leonard, 23, was shot in the neck and killed while walking down a sidewalk in Saginaw, Michigan. No suspects have been arrested.
The hope of this fundraiser is two-fold: 1) To raise a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) who murdered my son; and 2) to use any excess money donated to start a college fund for Jake's 2-year old daughter. If the reward money is not used, 100% of it will go directly to the college fund. The sooner we receive the funds, the sooner we can publicize the reward money; we are so grateful for every donation.
Jake was in the wrong place at the wrong time - his death is senseless -- please help us find justice for Jake.
