Justice for Jason and Ali

We have created this go fund me page on behalf of Jason and Ali to help them get through this difficult time and we appreciate all the support you guys have given them so far, this is a very traumatic time for them, and we are hoping they get the justice they deserve. For those of you who don’t know who they are and what happened to them, it goes back to December 13th, 2022. They were both sleeping peacefully in their home in Murphy, North Carolina when they were suddenly woken up in the middle of the early morning around 4:30am and were traumatized by the local police and SWAT team which started with them sending a robot drone into their home, Jason went to go pick it up and see what it was, as the police are yelling at him to come out of the house with Ali standing behind him both confused as to what is going on, Jason walks to his front door, opens the door and complies with the officers immediately putting his hands up while he was holding the robot drone in his one hand that THEY sent in the house, and then within seconds they pulled trigger and fired at least 15 shots at him, he got hit 2 times with bullets and instantly fell to the ground with his wife Ali standing behind him (who also almost got shot by the way) and then Jason was rushed to the emergency room with life threatening injuries as one of the bullets hit his artery on his arm.. now him and Ali both have to live with this traumatic event for the rest of their lives, and can no longer live in their home that they spent YEARS building together. Now, you all are probably wondering what lead the cops there to begin with, the police were called to do a wellness check and instead of the police going and doing a wellness check first or even confirming this situation that required a wellness check, they decided to take it upon themselves to call the SWAT team and just show up and start shooting without even confirming the story. These are supposed to be people we rely on for protection and our safety, and these officers are still out living their lives at this very moment who should be penalized for what they did to Jay and Ali... (I HAVE ATTACHED THE LINK COVERING FOOTAGE OF THIS EVENT THAT SHOWS EXACTLY WHAT THESE OFFICERS DID TO THEM) I also wanted to add, If you watch towards the end of the video, you can hear and see the officers come inside the home after Jay and Ali are outside showing they are stressed because they realized they were 100% wrong. If that is the case and the evidence is there, WHY is nothing being done about this?????

The purpose of this go fund me now, is to help support Jay and Ali getting through this difficult time, they were now forced to move out of their home in a disclosed location to feel safe and get through this. Could you IMAGINE just waking up in the middle of the night in your OWN home and being shot at repeatedly for literally no reason?!?!? They need financial assistance now more than ever with finding a new home, a place to live to get them by during this time. They also need emergency funding to get them treatment for PTSD through a mental health trauma center which their health insurance will not cover. They haven’t been home since this happened due to feeling unsafe and could you honestly blame them?

These funds will NOT be used towards ANY legal fees and is going directly to Jay and Ali, strictly just to help them get by with housing, medical bills, etc. Jason is a disabled man and is unable to work which is why they need help.

Now you are probably wondering who it is that created this go fund me, our names are Amanda & Katelyn, we have personally known Jay our whole life he is my dad's best friend and has always been since before we were even born. He and his wife Ali, who we have also known for many years now, are two of the most kindhearted, happiest, and caring people we know. They have been here for us through some of our most difficult times in life and now it is our time to do the same for them. The fact that they are going through this right now is so heartbreaking. Watching those videos and seeing what those cops did to Jason is horrific to say the least, especially since Jason is ALREADY disabled and the cops still opened fire on him without hesitation, they were both put in serious harm's way, what happened could've easily turned into something fatal, they weren't just firing at him to stop him, they were definitely aiming to kill him over a “potential hostage situation’ that didn’t even exist. Now the fear they must even go back to their own HOME that they worked SO hard to build, is gone. To truly know what two of our favorite people are going through and seeing what they're going through is tragic. They did not deserve this at all. These officers need to pay for what they did to Jay and Ali.

We just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to read this, I have also attached a letter from Jay and Ali that they wanted to share with you all as well. This go fund me will help them tremendously and put their financial worries at ease for the time being while they are fighting through this difficult and traumatic time.
