"Justice for Jayden Harrison" Campaign

Hello, my name is Susan, and I am a mother who has been living through a nightmare that no parent should ever have to endure. On the night of July 3rd/4th, between the hours of 11:34pm-1:00am, my world was shattered when I received the devastating news that my beloved son, Jayden, was brutally taken from us in a senseless act of violence, in the parking lot of Planet Fitness. Today, I am reaching out to you, our community, our friends, and compassionate strangers, to help us seek justice for my son, by offering a reward for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of his murderer, as well as raise the money required to carry on our “JUSTICE FOR JAYDEN” campaign.

Jayden was 22 years old, full of love, life, and laughter. was born and raised in Greenville, NC. Jayden attended his early grade school years at Arendall Parrott Academy and graduated in 2019 from J.H. Rose High School.

He attended college at East Carolina University, where he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma. He was a Legos and Star Wars enthusiast, a gamer, a random trivia buff, a great debater, and so, so much more.

Jayden would greet you with his electric smile, he was silly with a big heart, and a sense of humor, his hugs were tight, his heart was kind and generous. He brought light into the lives of those he knew. He was a bridge, building and nurturing connections between others.

When it came to Jayden, everyone had a true friend. For instance, when a friend of Jayden's informed him that she had been dismissed from her job, flowers were waiting at her door that afternoon to cheer her up. While at work one day, Jayden learned that a friend was considering harming himself, he left right away, found the friend sitting by a railroad track and spent time with him, to provide comfort and reassurance. Only a few weeks later, Jayden was killed. This friend attended Jayden's burial, and expressed his gratitude to me that Jayden took time with him that afternoon.

The pain of losing a child is unimaginable, but what makes it even more unbearable is the fact that his killer is still out there, free to harm others. The loss of JAYDEN has left a void in our lives that can never be filled, and the only way we can find closure and peace is by bringing his murderer to justice.

We have been working tirelessly with law enforcement agencies, but as time goes on, we realize that we need to take additional steps to ensure that the person responsible for this heinous act is apprehended. We are now turning to you, our community, for support in raising a reward fund that will incentivize anyone with information to come forward and support our “Justice for Jayden” campaign.

Every dollar donated to this GoFundMe campaign will go towards offering a substantial reward for credible information leading to the arrest and conviction of Jayden's murderer. We are committed to working with the authorities to ensure that justice is served.
