Justice for Juan Catalan of "Long Shot" on Netflix
Donation protected
Juan was arrested and charged with a murder he clearly did not commit. He was released from maximum security custody after nearly 6 months while facing the death penalty until his lawyer @ToddMelnik was able to prove his innocence in court with the most unlikely and incredible alibi ever. With a different lawyer, Juan sued the City of Los Angeles and LAPD, and after costs and expenses of the lawsuit, he received very little compensation. This world famous case and Netflix documentary is one of the most popular documentary short films on Netflix of all time. The film received numerous awards and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Documentary for a Short film. Juan received NO compensation for the movie and still struggles today to make ends meet working in his father's machine shop to support his three children. Please show your love and support for Juan by donating a little something. If you haven't seen the movie, please watch it to see how a kind, struggling father got railroaded by a cutthroat prosecutor and incompetent detectives. 100% OF ALL DONATIONS GO TO JUAN CATALAN AND HIS FAMILY
