December 7, 2018, Columbus Police wrongfully murdered Julius Tate. They have not been held accountable. The City of Columbus has yet to acknowledge and make amends for the harm that they caused to him and his family.
Julius was a son and a brother. He had six siblings, and took good care of them. This past May he would have graduated from Columbus Public Schools, right before his 18th birthday. His family remembers his jokes and the laughs he brought into their home.
Julius’s family is fiercely dedicated to getting justice so that his soul may pass in peace. Please continue to show up for them them so they can take leave from work in order to process their grief and fight for what is right. Your donations will support his grandmother as she looks after his younger siblings while his parents get their families’ logistical needs in order.
