We Support Kohl Parker

Hi, my name is Karen Gallo. I am fundraising to help support Kohl Parker.

 

On January 24, 2022, Kohl Parker was involved in a very serious accident on Highway 40 in St. Louis.  True to his nature, Kohl immediately exited his vehicle to help others on the accident scene that evening with no regard for any injuries he may have sustained.  The police later determined that Kohl was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol but despite this, the accident is now being treated as a crime; Kohl has been charged with 14 felony counts.  These charges are excessive and the potential prison time associated with them would have deeply adverse impacts for the future of a bright, loving young man.  

Kohl has enlisted the help of an attorney who believes in him and is preparing to defend him from these excessive charges, but this defense will be costly.  Accident reconstruction experts, time, and travel for expert witnesses are among the expenses that are expected.  It is in support of these costs that I've created this Go Fund Me page.

Kohl is a recent graduate of Grand Center Arts Academy where he excelled in theater; he has attended 2 years at the local community college while working full time.  He is a kind, thoughtful, peaceful, smart, and sensitive young man who is just beginning his life's journey. He is supported by a loving family, including 4 younger siblings who benefit from his gentle, nurturing mentorship.  Please help us keep the system from turning him into a statistic.
