Hello everyone, we urgently need your help to support a brave woman in her fight for justice. Yufen Liu, a 59-year-old Chinese American, has called Massachusetts her home for the past 20 years. In 2019, Yufen endured an unimaginable ordeal at Tufts Medical Center, an experience that has left her life shattered.

She now lives with constant physical pain, psychological trauma, and the heavy burden of racial discrimination she faced during her time there. Today, we ask for your generous donations to help Yufen in her legal battle against the injustices she has suffered.

A Terrifying Ordeal

On November 24, 2019, Yufen Liu visited Tufts Emergency Center due to severe back pain. What followed was a series of horrifying events that no one should ever have to endure. Shortly after being administered an IV infusion to help her relax, Yufen felt her heart slowing down alarmingly. The medical staff insisted she stay overnight for a CT scan. But the nightmare had only just begun.

In the inpatient department, a nurse injected an unknown substance into Yufen's lower abdomen without her consent. During the CT scan, Yufen experienced excruciating pain and felt as if her body was exploding. Her screams for help were ignored. For six agonizing hours, she was restrained, unable to leave despite feeling she was in imminent danger.

False Imprisonment and Abuse

After being released, Yufen was shockingly re-arrested by the hospital's security guards while on the street. Tufts Medical Center later produced fraudulent medical reports with multiple discrepancies and different medical registration numbers. Further examinations at other hospitals revealed no heart issues, contradicting Tufts’ claims.

Aftermath and Legal Struggles

The week following her release, Yufen's body was covered in painful blisters. Believing she had signed a release agreement, she did not report these symptoms. In 2021, Yufen filed a medical malpractice lawsuit, only to face another hurdle: the Massachusetts Middlesex Superior Court required her to pay a $6000 bond, which she did. Yet, her case was dismissed without a medical tribunal review of her evidence.

Undeterred, Yufen filed a second civil rights lawsuit in 2022. This, too, was dismissed, and the Appeals Court ruled that the initial dismissal barred all her subsequent claims. Both courts ignored critical facts and seemingly distorted the law to block Yufen’s quest for justice.

Seeking Justice

Now, we are appealing to the Massachusetts Supreme Court for a review. This is where we need your help the most. Yufen’s case is not just about her; it’s about upholding fundamental human rights, including the right to consent and protection against racial discrimination and medical abuse.
