Today, we’re reaching out to you on behalf of MaKayla, a dedicated and loving young mom who recently fell victim to a tragic incident of police brutality. While out with friends enjoying a night at a local bar, the police were called to that location for a different individual and that is when this unfortunate turn of events happened. MaKayla was simply walking down the street, talking on her phone, when she was wrongfully accused of threatening an officer.

MaKayla suffered a concussion and injuries to her face, chest, and body during this unjust encounter. This traumatic experience has left her not only with physical scars but also emotional turmoil. While she spent the weekend in jail, her heart ached for her baby, and she increasingly became concerned about her injuries. Her mother rushed her to the hospital on Monday as soon as she was released, this is where she discovered the extent of her physical injuries and began to realize the severity of her emotional ones as well.To make matters worse, MaKayla now faces serious charges, which have placed an immense burden on her and her family. She needs our help to access proper legal representation to fight these wrongful accusations and seek justice.We’re asking you to join us in supporting MaKayla during this challenging time.
