Justice For Marshawn

Hello, My name is Tina Thomas. I’m the aunt of Marshawn Mitchell and Amanda Lenoir. I really appreciate you taking the moment to read our story. Our family has been blindsided by the death of my 14yr old nephew Marshawn Mitchell who was shot and killed at Hillcrest High School on September 15, 2023. Marshawn was a fun-loving, caring student and athlete. Marshawn had the biggest heart and loved his family and friends. This heart wrenching time has changed us forever. We are seeking support for the parents (Amanda Lenoir) & (Michael Mitchell) to aid and bring justice for their son. We come to you seeking support for Marshawn and our family's tragedy. It can help bring awareness to senseless acts of gun violence that is killing our kids across Illinois at an alarming rate. Safety measures need to be brought to our schools to protect our students. The funds will be used to help cover final expenses such as private investigators, community outreach, to provide monetary reward for information leading to arrest and the parents who will not be attending work at this time.
