Justice for Memaw
Donation protected
This is my beautiful grandmother. Early Wednesday early morning Nancy Kemp, Memaw to most, was pulled over on I-35 by a highway patrolman for failing to dim her headlights. He asked her to sit in his vehicle while he ran her license, insurance, etc. Ultimately, he got angry with her for texting (she was alone, scared, and texting her daughter) and ended up breaking ribs 2-8 on her left side, breaking her nose, and bruising her all over her body.
My grandmother is the kind of woman that you only hope you’re lucky enough to know, and the kind of Grandma you thank God for. She has never been unkind to anyone, or even so much as raised her voice. She doesn’t have a violent or aggressive bone in her body. My grandmother has a long road of healing, surgeries and mounting medical and legal bills to obtain justice for the injuries she received at the hands of the trooper.
