Justice For Nathaniel Naki

Aloha, My name is Terina Naki sister to Nathaniel Naki. Nathaniel is the 4th eldest son of 6 children to Mr. & Mrs. Raymond and Julieann Naki. On April 30th, 2023 Nathaniel was taken from us by the excessive force of officers of the Maui/Molokai Police Department. Nathaniel was a happy and loving person who also suffered from mental health issues. The morning of, officers did not handle the situation appropriately and followed guidelines and protocols in deescalating the situation with a documented civilian who was known to have mental health issues. In result, we lost a son, brother, uncle, cousin and a loving member of our community and island. We ask that any type of donation is appreciated in helping us lay our brother to rest and get Justice for Nathaniel. We will never forget and we will never stop fighting to make right what was wrongfully done. Although we will never be able to get our brother back we hope to prevent tragedies like this from happening again, especially on our small island of Molokai. We ask that you continue to pray for our family and our island.
