Justice for Nyheem Wright

On Friday January 20th, 2023 17 year old Nyheem Wright was brutally chased down and critically stabbed, where he succumbed to his injuries Saturday morning January 21st 2023 in Coney Island, Ny. Like Lesandro Guzman-Felize Respectfully known as "junior" our community is faced with yet again the task of burying another one of our youth, due to unnecessary brutal street violence. Nyheem was a son first, a brother, an uncle, and a friend to many that will mourn his tragic death. A mother heart broken carrying the task of burying her son, and advocating for justice in hopes it will bring an ounce of peace to her surviving sons. Nyheem attended high school and is highly praised by the admistrative staff, as well as his teachers. He went to school and worked as hard as any ambitious kid determined to write his own narrative. He valued his family and time spent with his brothers, and anyone he called a friend was honored to have been graced with his huge smile and silly sense of humor. He brought life when he entered a room, and that life is what we Vow to honor as his family.
