JUSTICE FOR OSIRIS BENNETT

Donation protected
My name is Nya Bennett,
My sister Carriengton Irving and I are creating this Go Fund Me on behalf of our 23 year- old brother, OSIRIS BENNETT, who was killed by two undercover officers. On Friday, February 24th around 4:30pm OSIRIS was shot multiple times and killed at North Avenue Marta Station in Atlanta, Georgia by two plain clothed officers (wearing hoodies and book bags), for what should have been a CITATION, for apparently lighting a blunt, walking into the train station.
While the stories are continuously changing, the two that have been released are (1) he was approached for lighting his blunt by the plain clothed officers (hoodies and book bags) who wanted to give him a citation and a fight broke out, where they claim Osiris pulled out a gun, pointed it at the two officers “causing” one of them to react by shooting him in his neck and torso killing him. (2) Osiris lit his blunt and was approached by the plain clothed officers, who intended to detain him to further investigate which caused a fight to break out, they tried to tase him and failed, he pulled out a gun and one of the officers pulled out a gun shooting him in his neck and torso killing him. The stories being reported ultimately do not matter because there is an injustice here. We have been left in the dark. The reports have YET to include that he was shot MULTIPLE times.
It has now been a week since the untimely death of our brother and we have not received any kind of information on what exactly happened that Friday at North Avenue Marta Station. The Georgia Bureau of Investigations has yet to reach out to any of us with any kind of update on what happened to our brother. There are NUMEROUS cameras at a train station constantly recording, so what exactly are we waiting on for? The Medical Examiner told us the autopsy report could take up to 90 days? Since When? Even if you are trying to wait to make this information public, things should and could at least be communicated with his family.
Who was Osiris Bennett? A Gentle Giant. A young man coming into his own and paving a way for himself with every odd against him. A smile that would light up a room, a mind so sharp it was scary how smart he was. He was a provider, a protector, very ambitious, respectful, and extremely goal driven. He would go out his way to make sure everyone he loved was straight and taken care of. Hard working would be an understatement of how driven he was. Creative as ever and would use his God given gifts to take care of everyone he loved, no matter the circumstances. Osiris everyday would research on how to better himself as a man, whether that be mentally, physically or spiritually. He wanted better for himself and the people around him.
He was currently a mechanic at a Dodge Ram Jeep dealership. His hobbies were playing basketball, going to the gym, and making home cooked meals. He was working on opening a business focusing on fixing and reselling cars. Also a part of that business, he wanted to have clothing apparel dedicated to race wear (gloves, jackets, etc).
Now that you know the real Osiris, we are asking that you please help us in this long journey ahead, as we fight to get justice for our brother. These funds will go towards funeral expenses, a separate autopsy, seeking counsel, and whatever else tries to stop us from getting JUSTICE FOR OUR BROTHER, OSIRIS BENNETT!
If you feel inclined to help us on this journey we would greatly appreciate anything you have to offer and if you do not have anything monetary to give - PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE STORY!!!
