JUSTICE FOR PIQUI

Donation protected
This campaign has been created on behalf of the Estevez family.

On Saturday, April 22, 2017, at 9:45 a.m., Ana Estevez’s world was tragically turned upside down.  She contacted local authorities to report her son, Aramazd Andressian II, missing, when his father failed to show up for a schedueld custody exchange.  It was at that time that officers notified Ana that Ara Andressian, Sr. was found unconscious in a park and had been taken to a local hospital.  When Ana inquired about the whereabouts of her son, authorities notified her that there was no trace of Piqui.

For seventy-one days, hundreds of law enforcement agencies, volunteers, family and friends worked diligently to search for Piqui, spread awareness of his disappearance and to keep Piqui’s story alive.

On Friday, June 30, 2017, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Ana received the visit she never hoped for.  Two detectives arrived at the house to inform Ana that Ara, Sr. revealed the location of Piqui’s body.  Within a few hours, Piqui was located in Santa Barbara County.  He was left all alone, lifeless and abandoned.

Nothing in this world will ever take away the pain of losing Piqui.  “My heart is shattered and I will miss my son immensely each and every second of every day for the rest of my life.  He was everything good in my life…the beacon of light that guided my path as HIS momma.  That beacon is now extinguished forever.  When Piqui died, a part of me died along with him.” (Ana Estevez)

The destruction and dark void that has become an eternal shadow is Ana’s new reality...

This Go Fund Me account has been established to support in the recovery process. All donations will be greatly appreciated.

Ana’s search for her son has ended, and now she faces the final act of devotion - laying her son to rest.  Because the Los Angeles County Court system still requires that Ana pay spousal support to Aramazd, Sr, ($2,000 per month), any donation made will help to alleviate the financial stress of expenses related to the funeral service, memorial service, legal expenses, and living expenses.   Funds will also allow Piqui’s mother to grieve the loss of the love of her life, her only child, Aramazd Andressian II.
