Justice For Rico

I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my angel, Rico to help with his medical care and recovery along with expenses to help take care of his family and two year old son. On December 20, 2021 as I was walking out of work with my coworker/friend Rico in an unlit parking lot I was assaulted by three individuals. Once Rico realized what was happening he put his life on the line and protected me and made sure I made it out of the situation alive.

Unfortunately, he sustained multiple injuries when coming to my defense. Rico was shot both in the stomach and the hand by one of the attackers. From this he had to have his small and large intestines rebuilt. He is now in the trauma intensive care unit and is currently starting his long recovery journey, and at this time we are unsure on how long Rico’s recovery will fully take.

Rico is a tattoo artist and due to this tragic incident he will not be able to return to his livelihood at the moment. He currently is in need of all our love and prayers during this hard time. Any financial contributions of any amount will help Rico to ensure a way to focus on recovery instead of the burden of expenses.
