Justice for Robert T. Wilson: Fund Autopsy & Funeral

What really happened to Robert T. Wilson?
Robert was released from a CA state prison INCAPACITATED!

Robert T. Wilson served 28 years for robbery of a convenience store in 1996. He was eligible for parole in 2021 but "disappeared" in the California Prison System during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to 2021, he advocated for prisoners' rights. Robert was eloquent, well-versed in civil rights, and recognized for effectively advocating for fair treatment of inmates facing inequality.

After the family demanded answers on Robert's whereabouts, they learned he had been moved from the prison to the California Prison Hospital in Stockton, CA, (6) months prior. A video call revealed that Robert was in an incapacitated state.
The family was told he had dementia, severe Parkinson's disease, and lung cancer, even though he never smoked. He was given only six weeks to live.

On February 13, 2024, Robert was released from prison on a "compassionate release." When Robert was released from the CA State Prison Hospital, he was non-verbal; in a wheelchair, he looked like a caveman, was dehydrated, malnourished, and weighed only 124 lbs. During care at home, Robert mumbled that he was attacked.

The family followed up with doctors, and CT scans showed that Robert suffered trauma to the brain while in prison.
Robert passed away on July 7, 2024.

Robert NEEDS an autopsy before cremation so that his family can receive answers and justice for his "false diagnosis." We can't get an attorney without an autopsy.
Robert is not the only one to disappear or die in the prison system during COVID-19.
Robert leaves behind two sons and four grandsons, who are all named Robert Wilson. We thank God for the five months that we had with Robert.

He is currently in a Los Angeles mortuary; please help us so that we can have a private autopsy and lay him to Rest In Peace.
He served his time and deserved to be released in good condition. Please help and spread his story.
