Justice for Roger Herbert
Donation protected
Roger Herbert was held prisoner by the Massachusetts Department of Correction for 28 years, and died of cancer two weeks ago at age 48. He is remembered by his niece, Sophia, his twin brother, Ronald, and his found family inside prison as a role model, loyal, deeply compassionate and self-sacrificing.
Men incarcerated at MCI Norfolk have already raised $2,000 to cover the funeral costs, and we are asking for your help raising the remaining $2000. All donations will go directly to Sophia. The funeral will be held on Sunday, November 11th.
All are welcome to a vigil and speakout against medical abuse in the MA Department of Correction will be held after the funeral on Sunday. We will celebrate and mourn, share stories, and fight for our loved ones locked away.
